Even though their company, “Superior Affiliate Management” went out of business partially because of this complaint, leaving tons of affiliates without being paid, the owners still have to pay the FTC a bunch of money. Wooohooo, right?

While at the time, sending over 30MM spam text messages that claimed that people were going to receive a free iPAD seemed like a good idea, none of the ddefendants including Joshua Brewer and Daniel Stanitski are probably celebrating at the moment. Besides being permanently banned from sending spam text messages ever again, they all have to pay back the profit made from the scam: A total of $350,000.

Too bad many affiliates were left unpaid from other offers and clients and won’t see a dime of this.
