The popular Q&A website Quora has been making a big push to expand their advertising options over the past year. They say that they now have more than 1000 active advertisers, and that number is continuing to grow. To help push this forward, the company is now rolling out their native image ads globally.
A year ago Quora launched a self-service ad platform to help make it easier for advertisers to use their system. At the time, the system was only available for text ads. Since then they have added in native image advertising in select markets, and are now expanding that worldwide.
Their system is quite easy to use and allows advertisers to quickly upload their company logo as well as an image advertisement. It will turn that into the ad that fits onto their website, and can begin being displayed almost immediately. They do limit the amount of text that can be included in an image to just 20%.
This system is available for both desktop and mobile users, which will help to make it easier for marketers to add and edit their ads from any location.
Given the rapid growth Quora in recent years, and the fact that many of the questions are perfect for very targeted ads, this could present a great opportunity for many brands and marketers.
