Pinterest has just pushed out an update that will redesign business profile pages. The new design allows for more customization options, and perhaps most importantly, adds a monthly view count. This will show how many people have viewed the business’s pins over the past thirty days. Having this ‘at a glance’ view count will make it much easier for businesses to gauge the popularity of their pins.
The view count will be located just below the name of the business, and is visible not only to the business itself but also to those who visit. This can have a positive impact on the number of people coming as well since pages with lots of views will tend to attract more people.
Along with the view count, businesses will be able to add a dynamic cover image, showcase latest pins, and highlight recent activity. The changes were based on feedback that Pinterest collected over the past months, and will hopefully make the site better for marketing purposes.
