Two popular services used by marketers have combined according to a press release. ScribbleLive has purchased Visually. The match seems to make a lot of sense because both of the companies are in the content business. One focuses on creation and the other on distribution. Together they will allow users to plan, create, distribute and analyze a wide range of content for their users.
The exact terms of the deal were not released but for the time being both platforms will continue to operate independently. Eventually they will be combined under the ScribbleLive name. In addition, most of the employees from the Visually team will keep their jobs long term with their new company.
Once everything has been completed ScribbleLIve will serve as a ‘one stop shop’ for all types of content marketing efforts. This will help marketers who are struggling with the idea that they need to subscribe to multiple services just to get their content marketing services moving forward the way they want.
The combined company will have more than 2000 brands as customers, including many top names like Visa, EMC, Shell, RedBull, Bank of America and many others. They will also have offices in the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, making them a truly global company.
