Twitter Launches Brand Hub to Target Marketers

Understanding what customers and potential customers are saying about a brand is essential when it comes to digital marketing.  In an effort to make this easier and more effective, Twitter has launched a new tool that is called, “Brand Hub.”

This tool will allow marketers to get a real-time picture of what people are saying about their brand.  With this information it will be easier to take action and respond to what is trending.  Whether people are talking positively or negatively, it is always best to react as quickly as possible.

Part of this platform is a metric called TrueVoice that allows marketers to track a brand’s share throughout all tweets.  This can also be very helpful.  When launching the platform Twitter reps said, “We determine your brand’s TrueVoice by first analyzing Tweets about your brand and those about your competitors.  Then, we identify what percentage of these impressions your brand owns.” They went on to say, “As consumers see ads about your brand and your competitors on TV, display and social channels, they send Tweets which are then counted in real time through TrueVoice.”

This is just the latest move from Twitter to try to provide marketers with more tools and opportunities to build their businesses.  Whether you use Twitter advertising or do everything organically, this type of information can be very helpful in developing a full marketing strategy.  The new tools are available now to Twitter users so sign up and see what you can learn about your brand’s social media activity.
