Adperio has just announced the beta release of their new mobile compliance tool, which is named AppVault. This tool is set up to help fight fraud related to app installs and advertising. It is the latest tool in their growing suite of compliance solutions. They are perhaps best known for PixelVault, which is an online fraud prevention technology that has rapidly grown in popularity since it launched in 2014.
This new system is designed to give marketers additional control and better insights into their app install campaigns. Of course, app install campaigns have grown significantly over the past year, and that growth is only expected to continue in the coming years. Having a good tool to predict and prevent fraud in this area is going to be very important.

This app is a great sign that the marketing industry is trying to get out in front of the fraud potential related to app installs. While fraud is already present, it is not quite as rampant in this segment of the digital marketing industry yet. As it continues to grow, however, that will likely change as ‘bad players’ begin to become more interested in this area. Having tools like this in place is a great way to minimize the overall impact.
