InMobi Offering Guaranteed Outcomes for Mobile Ads

All marketers know that there is risk involved when running an advertising campaign.  They can be expensive, and if the customers don’t come, you may be out a significant amount of money.  In what seems to be an industry first, however, the ad network InMobi is offering guaranteed results to their customers.

Upon launch, they are offering options for guaranteed activities like coupon clips, click-through, video views and form fills.  In the near future, they will be adding social media activities like likes or re-tweets as well.

Preemtham Venkatesh is reported saying, “There’s no upside cap.  We have consistently delivered 2x or 3x over minimums.” This was in an interview to marketingland.com.

This is quite an impressive offer, which many brands and marketers will undoubtedly love.  The fact that they can confidently invest their marketing dollars and be able to accurately predict at least the minimum returns is quite attractive.

While this does put the added risk on InMobi, they seem to be confident that they will be able to consistently deliver the results.  In addition, they will undoubtedly be pushing this feature hard so that they can attract new clients to use their mobile advertising platform.

This will certainly be a program that needs to be followed closely at the very least.  If it is successful, other ad networks may feel the pressure to follow suit in the future.
