TOKYO, Jul 30, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) — South Korea’s largest performance-based mobile ad network IGAWorks, Inc. has established Tokyo-based IGAWorks Japan, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of IGAWorks, Inc. Eric Kuk-seong Ma, CEO of IGAWorks appointed Heita Miyoshi as the CEO and Jeehoon Kim as the General Manager of IGAWorks Japan.
The new IGAWorks Tokyo office will serve as the cornerstone of IGAWorks’ Asia operations. The company already has some of the largest media coverage in Korea and has promoted the most mobile apps than any ad network there. Additionally, IGAWorks announced in June that four of the top five Kakao-based mobile games in Korea were promoted via IGAWorks’ burst CPI campaigns.
Now with Japan in its portfolio, the company hopes to attract more app developers from North America and Europe who want to promote their apps in major Asian app markets, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. IGAWorks’ ad network is now fully capable of running performance-based mobile ads in two of the world’s most profitable Android smartphone markets: Japan and South Korea.
“I am truly excited to bring our high performing mobile ad solutions to one of the most advanced mobile markets in the world,” said Eric Ma, CEO of IGAWorks, Inc. “In Korea, we proved to be the most effective burst CPI campaign channel for ranking boosting and organic lifting. We hope to be exactly that in Japan. Equipped with AdBrix, a powerful mobile tracking and analytics tool we announced just a month ago, our ad solution adPOPcorn should take our performance-based ads to the next level.”
“I am very grateful to start a brand new chapter of IGAWorks and to take a major role in this new era,” said Heita Miyoshi, the Executive Vice President of IGAWorks, Inc. and CEO, IGAWorks Japan, Inc. “As the one-stop gateway to mobile marketing in Asia, IGAWorks will continue to deliver highest performing marketing solutions to app developers from North America and Europe.”
Based in Seoul, South Korea, IGAWorks, Inc. is the one-stop gateway to mobile marketing in Asia. IGAWorks is the largest performance-based ad network in Korea covering 90% of the country’s performance ad traffic with 24 million active users including 16 million mobile gamers in its network. The company has been helping top mobile publishers acquire quality users in Asia with ad products like cost-per-install, cost-per-engagement, cost-per-action, and cost-per-engagement.
