New Real-Time Ad Fraud Detection from Pixalate Launched

Pixalate is an ad tech data company, which provides programmatic advertising for display, video and mobile platforms.  They have recently launched a new real-time fraud blocking technology, which is designed to help combat ad fraud for their customers.  This will help advertisers to maximize the return on ad investments, as well as combat the growing problem of ad fraud in the industry.

The technology works prior to ads being loaded, which is an improvement on most other fraud detection systems, which only notify ad networks after ads have been displayed to bots or other invalid traffic.  This will help ensure advertisers are not being charged for the traffic, and also helps to prevent any ‘double charging’ from this type of display fraud.

Pixalate focuses on three new features from this system, which are real-time detection, the blocking of malicious traffic, and a smart ad tag container.  The smart ad tag container enables the integration of fraud blocking more quickly and easily than other system.  It also allows for real-time updates to multiple ad campaigns to respond to new ad fraud threats.

Jalal Nasir, the CEO of Pixalate, said “Advertisers are wasting millions of dollars per year on fraudulent ads.  Ad fraud is a chronic problem in the industry and we are on the front line, fighting against it with data-driven insights and technology.  I am thrilled to announce this real-time fraud detection technology to better serve our customers.  At Pixalate, we are relentlessly focused on helping publishers, networks, agencies and brands become more efficient and maximize ROI in their programmatic advertising.”

Pixalate reports that brands like TripAdvisor, Orange Telecom and Amazon.com are already putting this new technology to use with excellent results.  More information about this ad-fraud prevention product, click HERE.
