Twitter’s “Official Partner Program” Launched

Twitter has just launched their ‘rebranding’ of the Twitter-for-Marketing program, which is now officially known as the “Twitter Official Partner Program.”  The program is a merger of the Twitter Certified Program and the Twitter Marketing Platform Partner Program.  The goal, it seems, is to attempt to attract more marketers to use the Twitter platform in their campaigns.

Businesses that are looking for third-party assistance with their Twitter campaigns will have a new place to visit and a new search page to help them get the marketing partner they need based on the specific expertise they require.

Twitter has taken the time to certify the partners that are in the system based on the products or expert-level service they are able to provide.  They rate these partners based on their skill in analytics, engagement, content curation, consulting, ad tech, audience data, audience on-boarding and ad measurement.

These partners can help companies of almost any size and type to improve the effectiveness of their ad campaigns.  This is done through the use of analytics and making actionable recommendations to brand so they can get the results they need.

Twitters has also announced that IBM has joined the program as their first consultancy partner.

IBM’s global leader of big data and analytics, Glenn Finch, commented on this partnership saying, “We believe in the transformative power of Twitter data for businesses, and are excited to be a Twitter Official Partner.  With our deep industry and technology expertise, we’re prepared to help the modern expertise capture the knowledge of social data and turn it into actionable results.”
