TopPPCs.com has recently released its December, 2013 edition of their best pay for performance ppc agencies on the net. They rate these agencies by analyzing benchmarks and comparing them to the industry as a whole. Acting as an independent third party, Topppc.com provides this information free of charge, and it is commonly used by many brands and marketers to determine which agency to use.
The process is quite detailed and involves a month-long set of testing and evaluating all the top PPC agencies. The specific criteria used to get to the top ten agencies is not released to the public, but it is commonly considered to be one of the best indicators of which PPC agencies are providing the best services. TopPPCs.com has been known to reach out directly to marketers to get their insight on the agencies they have recently used, as well as running some of their own campaigns to gage the results.
