Almost a year after after I proclaimed the end of Epic Media Group, and then pointed out how they were creating a plan to not really pay affiliates, it seems that they are living up to my prediction. As of this week, the company that was representing them in paying out people the past due money has advised everyone that they themselves are giving up representing the company, and will no longer talk to anyone about the isuse. In fact, in order to really screw everyone over a bit more, they are advising that people contact Epic Media Group in Canada, or T.A. Associates, the major investor.
Personally, I have no idea what this means: but it can’t look good for T.A. Associates, the investment company behind both Epic and their reincarnation of Kinetic Social. The refusal for them to do the right thing, and pay off the millions of dollars owed, despite numerous agreements and promises is not ethical in my opinion. It also shines a poor light on Kinetic Social, which either is also broke, or doesn’t give a damn about doing the right thing. Of course, their claim is that they are a new company… just in the same offices, same employees, same executive staff, same investors and same Epic Media Group pens.
